We are pleased to announce the release of www.SearchVeggie.com.
Search Veggie is a website based project featuring free listings of vegetarian and vegan restaurants or eating places around the world.
It all began as a project based on compassion. The compassion transformed into the vision of the project and the need for a comprehensive global listings of vegetarian and vegan restaurants became its mission.

We have a database based on selection of country which further allows a search based on state or province and finally a search based on a city. We list eating places which are exclusively vegetarian or vegan. As a clarification, we do not feature eating places which may have non-vegetarian options too. In other words, a restaurant with both animal and vegetarian options is not on our website or our database.
We try to list vegetarian or vegan eating places based on volunteers’ help or references, our volunteers’ internet searches etc.
We, in no way, are responsible for consequences arising out of consumption of food or drinks at any of the listed places nor do we promote, review or critique any particular listing. We however, endeavor to keep our database updated for closed businesses, change of addresses etc.
We encourage and appreciate your volunteerism in the cause. Your help in letting us know about a vegetarian and vegan restaurant, updating details on any listing and spreading the word out about SearchVeggie.com is highly appreciated. We thank all our volunteers who have worked hard to present SearchVeggie.com to everyone!
We are happy to share the word out for any similar initiative that anyone else may be doing too, in this. We are, in no way, in competition with anyone and in fact look forward to promote their similar efforts too on our website. Give us a shout and we will include a link here.
